Hello My Name Is...

Donna Hudson

Donna Hudson

I have been teaching for 25 years.  I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in teaching Mental Disabilities.  I have a Master’s degree in the areas of Learning Disabilities and ESL.

I was a special educator for 20 years and have been teaching ESL for 5 years.  I am the ESL team leader, Chair of the Latino Family Literacy Project, and International Festival Chair.

I believe all students have a right to a positive environment where they feel motivated to learn, are encouraged to share their ideas, and understand the importance of preparing for the “real world”.  As a cheerleader for all students, I believe every student has something to teach me.  My students know they have a voice, and are constantly working towards respecting and appreciating the differences in others.
